VoidGather

A WoW gathering map addon that remembers every mining, herb, skinning and lumber spot you gather — and shows the spots other VoidGather players find, so you can farm zones you've never been to.

01What it does

VoidGather builds your gathering routes as you play. Every vein, herb, skinnable spot and tree you chop is saved to your world map and minimap, and gathering the same node again refines its position instead of adding a duplicate.

Spots found by other VoidGather players on your realm arrive automatically, so a zone you've never farmed already has a map. Shared spots look smaller and fainter until a second player confirms them, and only first-hand gathers are ever passed on, so one bad report can't spread.

02What's inside

Your spots, on your map

  • Saved automatically

Gather a node and its spot appears on the world map and minimap, named — "Copper Vein", "Peacebloom", "Thalassian Lumber".

  • Midnight lumber included

Housing lumber counts too, no profession needed.

  • Stays out of the way

Small colored diamonds (blue mining, green herbs, white skinning, teal lumber) drawn under quest markers and flight points; only your professions show by default.

  • Click for a waypoint

Sets Blizzard's own waypoint and arrow, cleared when you arrive.

Shared with other players

  • Live sharing

A new spot gathered by another VoidGather player on your realm shows up on your map.

  • Zone catch-up

Entering a zone asks other players for the spots they know there.

  • Privacy

Only the spot itself is shared — kind, zone, map position and node name. Nothing about your character, bags or gold. Turn it off any time with /vg share.

Gathering helpers

  • Session tally

What you've gathered this session, with an hourly rate.

  • Tracker auto-switch

Optional Find Minerals / Find Herbs flip for miner-herbalists, only while moving and out of combat.

03Install

In-game: /vg lists every command; /vg zone shows how many spots are known in your zone.
